Good Man Charlie Brown
I’ve been a huge fan of Charlie brown and peanuts characters ever since I got my first Hey Peanuts! Comic book from a garage sale when I was 5 years old.
Charlie brown is very different from your regular comic book characters he is an all round good guy, always sincere and polite and totally lovable. For me it was so refreshing to see a character who could just be himself , you can always count on Charlie Brown to tell it how he sees it :).
They say Charlie Brown is based on his creator’s younger self and a lot like “Charlie Brown was the only kid in the world who lost 10,000 checkers games in a row. But like his pen and ink alter ego, he never admitted defeat.”
Even though in his early years Charlie Brown wasn’t the greatest hit he is now beloved worldwide and Charles Schulz has produced thousands of different characters including, Snoopy, Woodstock , Lucy and Pigpen.
There have also been TV episodes created with the most popular being “Charlie Brown and the Giant Pumpkin” there has also been a Broadway musical “Good Man Charlie Brown” celebrating the unforgettable character we all love.

Over the years, "Chuck" has always been one of my favorites. My favorite character was Snoopy. When I was a kid, I had a Snoopy doll (Check out my short-story "If I Had Wings" if you get the chance).
I remember the Peanuts special that used to air, like Charlie Brown's Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween (sorry, I don't remember the exact titles). Charles Schulz will definitely be missed. He's an American Icon.
Thank you for sharing this.
